Etage
Etage is a planter system made from rotational-molded plastic.
School project completed in collaboration with Little Tikes/LT Molding Solutions. Designers from LT Molding approached my class with an open brief to design a new product that would take advantage of their rotational-molding capabilities.

Etage is a flexible planter system for any location. It is large or small, indoors or outdoors.
Etage has two basket sizes and nine colors for each part.
There are two basic configurations: floor-standing and tabletop.
Etage drains water efficiently, allowing it to collect in the base reservoir where it can be reused by the lowest basket.
The base, roto-molded from polypropylene.
The mast inserts into the base and is held straight by the base bracket.
Base bracket
The base bracket serves two purposes. It holds the mast in place and contains nylon fabric that pulls water up from the reservoir through osmosis, thereby keeping the lowest basket watered.
Basket bracket
For hanging baskets the base bracket is replaced with a smaller bracket that manages drainage.
